Buenos Aires, April 8 (NA) — One person was detained due to incidents that occurred this afternoon between activists and police during a protest against the Glacier Law, which is being debated in the Chamber of Deputies, according to police sources reported to the Noticias Argentinas agency.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Avenida de Mayo and 9 de Julio, where officers from the Buenos Aires City Police tried to disperse the protesters with the aim of keeping them at the Congress.
So far, one activist who participated in the disturbances in the city center has been arrested, while the government pushes forward with the bill.
